HOUSTON COUNTY:     2:25 PM       Houston County 911 received multiple calls on a wreck with injuries on Highway 231 South near Leon Drive, which is near Dothan National. The reports are semi trucks are on the scene.


Rehobeth Fire Chief Nick Floyd arrived on the scene of Highway 231 at Leon Drive and no sign of anything. Chief Floyd reported from Highway 231 and Highway 109 to Leon Drive no sign of any wreck.


Houston County 911 reported to Chief Floyd a Rehobeth Fire member called on the phone that he as on the scene of a motor vehicle accident near the National Peanut Festival on Highway 231 South. Chief Floyd responded to that location. Chief Floyd then reported the accident was just north of the National Peanut Festival at Johnson Body Shop. Floyd reported a minor accident with minor damage.


Houston County 911, who can only provide the information persons calling them reports, I mean they have no magic looking glass to see the scene, reported the accident was possibly on Highway 231, south of Highway 109, possibly near the bridges.


Rehobeth EMS, Captain Heather Thomas, reported the ambulance was going south from Highway 109 on Highway 231. Thomas came up on the accident south of Highway 109. A single vehicle accident with heavy damage. Thomas reported no injuries.


Chief Floyd responded to that accident as did Hodgesville Volunteer Fire Beau Deatheridge.


Houston County 911 was receiving multiple calls on accidents on Highway 231 in multiple locations.


Houston County Sheriff Cpl. Jeff Hunter then went from the Dothan City Limits on Highway 231 all of the way to the Alabama - Florida State Line. Deputy Cpl. Hunter reported the only two accidents are the one south of Highway 109 and the one at Johnson's Body Shop.

Cottonwood Rescue dispatched to Madrid to a patient possibly not breathing. Dothan Fire has been dispatched mutual aid assistance for advanced life support.


Houston County Sheriff Deputies are also responded.
