Norman Kayrus Williamson, a resident of Rehobeth passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 14, 2024.  He was 75.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 17, at 3:00 pm at Selma Baptist Church with Brother Travis Free officiating. A graveside service will follow at Selma Baptist Church cemetery, weather permitting with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

Visitation with the family will begin at 2:00 pm prior to the funeral service also at Selma Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Selma Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.

Norman was a 1966 graduate of Rehobeth High School and lived his entire life in Rehobeth.  He was married to his best friend, Theresa Bowen Williamson, for 51 years.  He was full of life and he loved his family with all of his heart.  His children and his grandchildren were the joy of his life.  He taught his sons how to work hard and to always be honest and treat others with respect.  He was an active member of Selma Baptist Church his entire life.  He spent most of his life in farming and loved to watch the crops grow and take care of his livestock.  He was also in the construction business and tried to teach his sons everything he knew, whether they wanted to know it or not.  He had a big heart and loved helping people.  He will be greatly missed, but thank God we will see him again in heaven.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Howell and Blanche Trawick Williamson, and his brother Marion Williamson.

Leaving to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years, Theresa Bowen Williamson; sons, Kerry (Bonnie) Williamson, Kevin (Kelli) Williamson; grandchildren, Helen Williamson, Ethan Williamson, and Jesse Williamson; special nieces Debbie Jackson and Maranda Weathers.
