A verdict of NOT Guilty was reached today in the case of a Houston County woman charged with intentionally inflicting injuries on her three-year-old stepdaughter.


Police claim 24-year old Caitlin Parker lied to police and changed her story several times after taking the girl to a hospital in December 2016.


Ultimately, she told investigators that Zoey fell from a kitchen counter, causing head trauma that the child survived.


Parker was represented by Attorney Clay Wadsworth and Amy Cobb Smith.
