Okaloosa County Arrest from a fatal crash on 7/7/22, State Road 285

Okaloosa County, FL. – On Saturday morning, November 12, 2022, a sergeant with the Florida Highway Patrol was able to make an arrest on Sherry Lynn Clark 36 years of age Mossy Head, Florida. Clark was the driver of the red 2006 Pontiac sedan that crashed into a 2020 White Ford Transit Van, head-on, on State Road 285. This crash occurred on July 7, 2022 around 7:52 am that morning. The crash took the life of Clark’s daughter, a six-year-old Passenger.


The Florida Highway Patrol’s Traffic Homicide Investigation revealed that driver 1, Sherry Lynn Clark, is charged with DUI manslaughter, Vehicular Homicide, and fail to drive in a single lane.
