Okaloosa County Investigating Apparent Jail Suicide

OKALOOSA CITY: A Shalimar man suspected in the stabbing death of his wife last May was found deceased at the Okaloosa County Jail in Crestview this morning.


The 51-year old was discovered hanging in his cell during a routine cell check around 4:30 a.m.


The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is investigating.


The man had been charged with homicide May 14th, after his wife was stabbed multiple times at their home on Mande Court.
