ONE CHARGED FOR TRAFFICKING IN METH

HOLMES COUNTY :Two Georgia men and one woman find themselves behind bars after a traffic stop revealed illegal drugs.
On April 6, 2021 deputies stopped a older model SUV on Hwy 81 in Ponce de Leon. The occupants were identified as Gary Ingram, Michael Ingram, and Kelsie Brown all from Rome, Georgia.
While talking with the occupants they admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle. Brown also stated to deputies that she was concealing illegal narcotics upon her person. Brown produced a glass smoking pipe and a container that contained over 14 grams of methamphetamine.
A search of the car produced bags of marijuana from both the driver and passenger side of the car. Gary Ingram was charged with possession of marijuana -20 grams. All three were arrested and charged with the following: Michael Ingram was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Brown was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
