Opelike Man Arrested Child Prrnogarphy 12 Counts

On April 5th, 2021, Lee County Sheriff’s Investigators were made aware of a Lee County man being involved in downloading and possessing provocative photos and videos of children under the age of 18.
On April 6th, 2021 Lee County Investigators conducted a search warrant in the 2900 block of Lee Rd. 165 in Opelika regarding the incident. During the search, multiple items of evidence were seized to include digital devices and media believed to contain evidence related to the investigation.
Bryant Thomas Stokes (52) from Opelika was arrested and charged with 12 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and 12 counts of Production of Pornography with Minors. He is being held in the Lee County Jail on a $500,000.00 bond. More charges are expected.
