OZARK:    PRAYERS are lifted up for Ozark Fire Lieutenant Justin Sutton.

Ozark Fireman Justin Sutton, age 41, worked on Sunday. Reports unofficially he was not feeling well on Sunday.

Reports are Lt. Sutton had battled cancer before. Today Lt. Sutton passed away.

All of the details are not known as of this writing. But we do know his family, both personal family and Ozark Fire - EMS family needs lifting up in prayer as they walk through the path of the loss of Lt. Sutton.

The day before his death Lt. Justin Sutton was on duty with the City of Ozark doing the job he loved and working to protect the citizens of Ozark Alabama and their guests. He was a mentor to many men and women in the Ozark Fire Family to help each and everyone be a success in their endeavors to be the best they can be as a fireman or EMS.

Being in public service, most especially emergency services, is a calling. One that when in your system, is one you do out of passion and love in serving others in time of need.

Lt. Sutton fit that chapter in life. Placing service to others above self in saving lives and property.

PRAYERS lifted up to the family of Lt. Sutton. Family at home and family at his home away from home - the Ozark Fire and EMS Department.

Also in the prayers are members of the Ozark - Dale County 911 staff. The men and women in the 911 Center work with the men and women in fire - EMS and law enforcement daily. They know their voices, the way they raise and lower their voices on calls. When the sound of their voice is calm or when raised and involved in emergencies. But the men and women in 911 rarely get to see the emergency officials in person. But they create a bond in the daily dialogue with them on the phone and radio. So prayers are also lifted to the 911 staff in the loss of Lt. Sutton
