Panama City Police Traffic Stop Leads to Largest Marijuana Bust

Panama City Fl:An anonymous tip, solid investigative work and a traffic stop led to the largest marijuana bust in nearly 20 years for the Panama City Police Department.
Investigators with PCPD’s Street Crimes Unit received a tip and were watching a house in the 1800 block of Bayview Avenue on Saturday, Jan. 16th. In the process of their investigation, officers conducted traffic stops on two vehicles that left the residence, leading to the arrest of four individuals on various drug and traffic offenses.
A search warrant was obtained for the residence and during the service of the warrant, investigators located 28 pounds of marijuana, more than $13,000 in cash and five firearms. The wholesale value of the marijuana is estimated at approximately $50,000. Packaged for distribution, the estimate street value of the marijuana is estimated at more than $380,000.
Based upon evidence in the investigation, the individuals from the traffic stops were charged with additional felony charges. In addition, two juveniles located at the residence were also charged with felony offenses.
Arrested were:
• Kasey May, 18, W/M, charged with driving with license suspended or revoked, trafficking of marijuana, delinquent in possession of a firearm, keeping and maintaining a nuisance drug house, possess of drug paraphernalia and possession of THC extract.
• Keegan Long, 18, W/M, charged with possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams), possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking of marijuana, keeping and maintaining a nuisance drug house and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Guillermo Sanchez, 21, W/M, charged with possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams), possession of drug paraphernalia and trafficking of marijuana.
• Theodore Koenig, 17, W/M, charged with trafficking of marijuana, possession of THC extract, keeping and maintaining a nuisance drug house and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Angel May, 16, W/F, charged with trafficking of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All were booked in to the Bay County Jail. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
