Paving on Ross Clark Circle expansion project to begin Sunday evening

DOTHAN: Beginning Sunday, May 19, weather permitting, contractors will begin paving the first phase of the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) expansion project on Ross Clark Circle.
The first phase of this project includes adding additional lanes to Ross Clark Circle from south of the intersection of Bauman Drive to south of the intersection of U.S. Highway 84.
ALDOT awarded this phase of the project to Midsouth Paving, Inc., out of Birmingham at a cost of $4.7 million.
ALDOT’s mission is to provide a safe, efficient, environmentally sound transportation network across Alabama.
