GENEVA COUNTY: On Friday evening there was a major motor vehicle accident in Malvern area.
Due to the severity of the injuries reported to Geneva County 911 Survival Flight was auto launched to the scene.
One young man, Benjamin Holloway, was injured in the accident. He is a graduate of Rehobeth High School and a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.
It has been called to my attention posts on families FACEBOOK asking for prayer. And specific prayer during certain hours.
The following are the posts.
JUSTIN HOLLOWAY, brother of Benjamin
TUESDAY @ 10:08 AM
For those of you who don’t know, my brother (Benjamin) was in a horrific car accident in Dothan Friday night. He was airlifted to UAB hospital for an emergency surgery due to a tear on his Aorta (which is the main artery of the heart). By the grace of God, the surgeons were able to repair everything in time. He has multiple other injuries that will just take time to heal and is also fighting some pneumonia, but we know God has control of that, just like He has throughout this whole situation. There is no doubt God has a plan for Benjamin. He is the toughest dude I know.
We want to thank ALL of the people reaching out to me and my family. I am not sure how we would get through this situation without all of your support and prayers. Continual prayers for Benjamin through this process is the only thing we ask of all of you.
DARLENE PIERCE COX, aunt of Benjamin
TUESDAY @ 7:38 PM
Please say a prayer for Randy's sister Rachel Cox Holloway-Messick grandson Benjamin Holloway Pneumonia is a main concern right now. The hours of 2-4 am seem to be toughest, so if you are awake at those hours please mention Benjamin to our Father.
WHITNEY CABLE, sister of Benjamin
TUESDAY @ 8:52 PM
Words can’t describe the past few days we have been through. All I know, is that our sweet Lord and Savior has been with us and Benjamin every step of the way. We have seen miracles in the midst of sorrow. We have found hope in even the darkest of times. We have been demonstrated a love like no other since Friday night by our church families, dear friends, and loved ones. In spite of this nightmare we are in, we have been blessed to have had every need met thanks to His people who have given generously to help our family. We can’t thank you enough for being there for us to cry with, reminisce with, talk with, wait with, and most importantly pray with. Thank you to the ones who have provided food, shelter, and comfort when we need it most. And thank you to all of you who have been, and still are, praying. Our Father is giving him the strength to fight through every battle that has come, and he is fighting so hard. Continue to pray. Nighttime seems to be hard between the hours of 2-4am, and specifically pray for nights in general. His temp seems to spike then. We love you all. Praise Him in all things.
PLEASE LIFT BENJAMIN UP IN PRAYER
