Today I placed this WAR EAGLE floral arrangement at the Angel Of Hope for my best friend.

On July 19, 2020 Sam Hathcock was called to Heaven.

I miss him every day.

Sam was the kind of friend that lifted you up especially when you needed it the most.

He was the kind of friend that you hoped for, that you wanted and that you needed.

You just don’t find those kind of friends everyday.

Sam often told me how proud he was of me for doing the Angel Of Hope statue and every year he and his very close friend and business partner ...Jay Pate made a donation to the Angel Of Hope.

I was telling Sam’s sister Edna Lolley this morning that I hadn’t realized until this morning that Sam was called to Heaven on the exact same day that I went before the Dothan City Commissioners asking for their approval to do the Angel Of Hope statue...July 19, 2016. Sam passed on July 19, 2020.

My best friend who always told me how proud he was of me for doing the Angel Of Hope...Is it a coincidence that God called Sam Home on that same day?

There was nothing about Sam that was a coincidence...He was brought into this world to help make it a much better place.

He definitely made my world a much better place to be...
