On 11-5-19 at approximately 6:30 pm a Deputy with the Uniform Patrol Division of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a stolen vehicle report in Grand Ridge. While speaking with the complainant, the individual that he loaned the vehicle to drove back up in his yard. The Deputy was familiar with the subject and knew that he did not possess a valid driver’s license.
Once that fact was confirmed, the driver, Jesse Sanders Folsom, was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance. Regarding the allegation that the vehicle was stolen, the Deputy determined that the facts did not support a stolen vehicle charge. The vehicle was returned safely to the owner.
