Saddle Up Santa is a FREE Christmas Festival being held on December 14, 2019 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Dothan Boots & Saddle Club, located at 1347 East Saunders Road in Dothan.

Saddle Up Santa offers free entertainment for local residents, including free games, inflatable bounce houses for children, a bake walk, door prizes, silent auction, visits with Santa, gifts from Santa, Under the big top tent will be Aileen Clayton providing musical entertainment, the Salvation Army Mobile Canteen and Waffle House teaming up to provide a free bag lunch, free hot chocolate, free train rides and more. There will be horse drawn wagon rides and even a skit done by a local drill team and a drill team from Montgomery who have come together to bring a message about Christmas on horseback. This event is a great way to step back into time where money isn't everything, it's a way to let children and families see the joys of Christmas and community.

In addition, area non-profit agencies will be on hand that provide services to assist and help families struggling to make ends meet. We will also be collecting canned food for the Salvation Army. Donations appreciated but not required to enjoy the fun.

This is a wonderful event, focused on families spending time with each other without the stress of finances, especially for those that don't have a lot of money to spend during the Holidays. Event proceeds will go to the local Wiregrass 2-1-1 program.

Thank You and May God Bless each and every one this Holiday Season!

Note: We are still in need of about 100 new toys for BOYS 4-12 years old. Toys around $5 each would be great. Those wanting to help can drop off toys at Wiregrass 2-1-1, 545 West Main St., Suite 313 in Dothan from 9-4 through Friday of this week, December 13th. Thank you!
