WE HAVE BEEN TOLD that over the past several months a lot of management has been terminated by Rick Sutton, CEO of Southeast Health. The ones that Rick Sutton brought from Colorado all remain because Sutton feels that could possibly hurt him if he terminated them. And that hurt could possibly inflict tremendous damage and possibly hurt bad.

WE HAVE BEEN TOLD and attempting to confirm that Houston County Health Care Authority, known as Southeast Health, has recently been hit with a huge fine of several million dollars. Obviously with all of the secrecy of the Houston County Healthcare Authority we are unable to obtain documents. But we know over the past several months Sutton has been obnoxious to hospital management terminating them for unfounded reasons. That is double digit number of management members.

WE ARE NOT SAYING THAT THEY HAVE BEEN HIT 

WITH A HUGE FINE. WE ARE SAYING WE HAVE

INFORMATION THEY HAVE BEEN AND IF CEO RICK SUTTON

WERE OPEN AND HONEST WE COULD EASILY

FIND OUT.

The reason is the hospital CEO has viewed cameras and fax machines within the hospital to see who faxed documents to RSN in past years. RSN is not on a witch hunt but attempting to verify information provided. And the only way that can be done is to seek assistance from those on the inside.

Our documentation is kept in a secure facility outside the State of Alabama and only Rickey Stokes and one more person knows the location of those documents. We are extremely confidential, careful and protect the identity of our sources.

HOUSTON COUNTY HEALTHCARE AUTHORITY

Southeast Health is operated by the Houston County Healthcare Authority. This authority is a 13 member board with 12 of the board members being appointed by the Houston County Commission, and one a member of the doctors.

The Houston County Commission is not privileged to any board meetings, minutes of the board meetings, items discussed in the board meetings. All are held in secret and out of the eye of the public and/or members of the Houston County Commission.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Houston County Health Care Authority is Richard Otto Sutton, known as Rick Sutton. A man hired by the 13 member Houston County Healthcare Authority and brought in from Colorado. One that most knows very little about.

Rick Sutton, with a home in Houston County, Colorado, Alaska and the beach, is not known in Dothan and leaves Dothan every chance he gets. Sutton arrived in Houston County with a large hatchet firing a lot of long time employees of what was known as Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

Southeast Health includes Houston County Health Care Authority; Southeast Health Foundation, Inc.; Statera Health, LLC; Southeast Pharmacy, LLC; Cooperative District of Southeast Alabama; and the Alabama Collee of Osteopathic Medicine, Inc. ( ACOM ).

The Houston County Health Authority is a not-for-profit public corporation located in Dothan, Alabama that owns and operates Southeast Health Medical Center ( SHMC ) which is comprised of a 420 bed general acute care hospital, and 15 physician practices in Southeast Alabama, and 9  hospital-based provider groups.

The Houston County Health Care Authority board members are appointed by the Houston County Commission. However the Houston County Commission is not financially accountable for the Houston County Health Care Authority and is not considered a part of the Commission's financial reporting entity. The Houston County Health Care Authority is considered a related organization of the Houston County Commission.
