Shoals area fire chief charged with theft, abuse of power

COLBERT COUNTY AL:      A north Alabama fire department chief was arrested today on felony charges of theft and ethics violations.


Tuscumbia Fire Chief Rodney McAnally is charged with second-degree theft and use of position for personal gain, records show. The crimes happened when McAnally was the fire chief in Littleville a tiny town in southern Colbert County, court records allege. The town is in northwest Alabama, about 70 miles west of Huntsville.
