The fatal shooting of a 20-year-old outside of UAB Hospital has been ruled justifiable, and no criminal charges will be filed in connection with the case.
Termaine Dwayne Howard, of Bessemer, was killed Thursday night. The Jefferson County District Attorney’s office on Tuesday issued its ruling, according to Birmingham police. Investigators say a gun was found on Howard when he was found dead. They did not elaborate on why the shooting was justified.
