The month of May is Small Business Month, and RSN is spotlighting those who deserve recognition during this special time.


One local small business that deserves recognition is Ferguson Wrecker Service which has several locations including Headland, Kinsey, Dothan, Ozark, and they are coming soon to Enterprise.


Owner, Tommy Ferguson, has been in business for over thirty years.


Ferguson Wrecker Service brings the newest fleet of wreckers and the greatest employees to the areas in which they serve.


Ferguson said it took a lot of hard work and long hours to get his business started.  He said with dedication, determination, and great employees to work with, he has made his business a success.


He said he would tell people interested in starting a business to be dedicated and willing to sacrifice a lot.


He believes in being courteous to all customers and that dependability and promptness are two traits that go a long way with owning his business.  He teaches all employees to treat customers with the utmost respect.


“We are very dependable and will give the best service around,” Ferguson said.


He said he chose the name of his company because he wanted to use his last name to carry on a family tradition and to be affiliated with great and dependable employees.


“We give damage-free service, and our wreckers are always clean on the inside,” Ferguson said. “Our drivers are always safe and courteous.”


Ferguson also said that they can offer thirty-minute response times in the following areas of Florida: Pensacola, Marianna, Panama City, and Apalachicola. This is because of their working relationships with other wrecker services in those areas; that says a lot about him and his company.
