Structure Fire at 143 Hatcher Ln in Slocomb Wednesday Night

SLOCOMB - Wednesday night around 11:48 p.m. Geneva County 911 dispatched Slocomb Fire Rescue to a structure fire at 143 Hatcher Lane in Slocomb. Units quickly arrived on scene to find pile of trash that was on fire that had extended into a single wide mobile home.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire which prevented any further damage to the home.
The fire is currently under investigation by the Alabama Fire Marshal’s Office.
