SUSPCIOUS VEHICLE LEADS TO DRUG ARREST

Ponce De Leon---On March 2, 2021 Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle parked on the shoulder of Hwy 81.

Deputies located the vehicle and observed a white male in the driver seat passed out behind the wheel while the vehicle was running.

The deputy was able to wake the subject and identify the subject as Frank Jordan 63 years of age from Ponce de Leon. Jordan stated that he did not have a driver license and could not give a good reason why he was passed out in the vehicle on the shoulder of the road.

The deputy was able to locate a small bag of marijuana, several used syringes, and a medicine bottle that contained methamphetamine upon Mr. Jordan’s person.

Mr. Jordan was placed under arrest and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana -20 grams.
