Suspect wanted in Aniah Blanchard case captured

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WSFA) - The man wanted in connection to the missing person’s case of Aniah Blanchard has been taken into custody.






U.S. Marshals confirm, Ibraheem Yazeed was taken into custody in Escambia County, Florida. It is unknown when Yazeed will be extradited back to Alabama.






According to the Escambia County, Florida’s jail website, Ibraheem Yazeed was booked around 2:30 a.m.






Major Andrew Hobbs with the Escambia County Florida Sheriff’s Office confirmed his agency assisted U.S. Marshals in taking Yazeed into custody. Hobbs says the arrest took place at the corner of I-10 and Pine Forest Road, near the second exit from Mobile to Florida.
