The Dothan Leisure Services Therapeutic Recreation Program is offering the opportunity to be a unified partner for the Dothan Special Olympics Bocce team. Practice will be held Tuesday, December 10th and 17th from 6:30-8 P.M. with more practices being scheduled at a later date. Practice will take place at Andrew Belle Center (1270 Lake St, Dothan, AL, 36303). Benefits of becoming a unified partner include promoting social inclusion by training and competing with Special Olympic Athletes. Athletes and partners will have the opportunity to compete in local and state competitions.
