Enterprise Alabama: The results are in and the winner of EPD’s Best Beard contest is…Detective Will Ezell and his salt-and-pepper stubble! Aside from giving Detective Ezell a self-esteem boost, this contest has raised a total of $1307 for our community police fund, $990 of that from the officers alone. The department is deeply appreciative of every dollar donated to this fund, which finances programs like Coffee With A Cop, the Citizens Police Academy, the SAFE Course, and Shop With A Cop. These programs are sponsored and financed by the department outside of our city budget as creative and fulfilling ways for us to give back to this community that means so much to us. Thank you for your support, and if you see Detective Ezell out and about, be sure to congratulate him and his wonderful whiskers!
