The Shana Ray Show As Mayor of Gordon Might Have Gotten Cancelled

GORDON:    Tonight was the regular scheduled time for the SHANA RAY SHOW, live from Gordon Alabama.

Shana Ray is the Mayor of Gordon in case you did not know that. She will tell you faster then 15 miles per hour over the speed limit!!!

But tonight the Council Members of the Town of Gordon basically said, SHUT UP SHANA. Your show has been cancelled.

I told a Commissioner, you can not even adjourn the meeting if you do not get a second, then a majority of votes. Tonight Shana Ray called for a motion to adjourn the meeting.

Guess What?   No one made the motion or second the motion, so Shana Ray's adjournment died. Shana Ray slide her chair against the wall so Mayor Pro Tem Dekle took over the meeting.

And when he did, the Gordon Town Council moved right along with their business. 

The vacancy on the Gordon Town Council was filled by a majority vote of the Gordon Town Council. Appointed is Vera Smith.

Shana Ray attempted to cut Gordon Police Chief Jim Mock from responding to emergencies or assisting officers who call for help outside the city limits of Gordon. That is when the Police Chief told Mayor/Show Star Shana Ray, fire me. If a fellow officer calls for help I am going. You can fire me now! Shana Ray then got lock jaw. And it went down hill from there.

Someone had a resolution that named Gordon Fire Department and what they could do. But Gordon Fire Department does not belong to the Town of Gordon. It is a 501 ( c )       

( 3 ), non profit corporation and the Mayor/Show Star and members of the Gordon Town Council have zero say about the Gordon Fire Department. They control the waste water station that keeps backing the manure up in the fire station, but they do not control the Fire Department, the Fire Chief or any of it's operation or money.

Then Mayor/Show Star Shana Ray wanted to charge the Senior Citizens for use of the Senior Citizens Center. That is when Councilman Saffold spoke up and said ain't no way, they own the building. Then Mayor/Show Star Shana Ray argued on who owned the building but Councilman Saffold said regardless, they ain't being charged.

I have not taken the time to watch the video. It is in two segments. But for Matt Boster to be entertained about a council meeting and tell me he was glad he covered it, well it has to be interesting. Normally I get his dynamic personality when I ask him what happen. But this time he was laughing!

Tonight might be the first time of many more to come cancellations of the Shana Ray Show in Gordon. If it is, the registered voters have won, finally.

And oh yes, the criminal charges the Mayor filed against the Gordon citizen boyfriend who got arrest warrants on the Mayor, Shana Ray, you have given him subpoena power. Since he is accused of Theft of Property and Receiving Stolen Property, then part of his defense is finding the missing money in Gordon.

That could get very - very - interesting if the right defense person assists him! Right David...
