Three Year Drug Investigation - Arrests Started At 6 AM This Morning

GENEVA COUNTY AL: At 1 PM today Geneva County Sheriff Tony Helms held a press conference in the lobby of the Geneva County Jail.
Sheriff Helms was flanked by Municipal Police Chiefs, Sheriff's, State Law Enforcement and FBI for the press conference.
Sheriff Helms stated today is the culmination of three ( 3 ) years of investigation of drug trafficking and distribution in and around Geneva County.
Sheriff Helms stated that throughout these three ( 3 ) years officers have been at work gathering evidence, by search warrant, subpoena, surveillance, and other means.
The agencies which participated are; FBI, DEA, United States Marshall's, United States Postal Service, ALEA ( Alabama Law Enforcement Agency ), Geneva County Sheriff's Office, Houston County Sheriff's Office, Coffee County Sheriff's Office, Geneva Police, Slocomb Police, Hartford Police, Samson Police, Enterprise Police, Ozark Police and Dothan Police Departments.
The officers from all departments that are represented here put a lot of late nights and long days. Sheriff Helms stated they would like to recognize the U.S. Attorney's Office of the Middle District of Alabama and the 33rd Judicial Circuit District Attorney Kirke Adams and staff for their assistance and guidance during this investigation.
At 6 AM this morning law enforcement officers from multiple agencies began executing state and federal warrants on some individuals from this investigation.
Sheriff Helms stated these persons were taken into custody and are being processed into the Geneva County Jail. Sheriff Helms said at this time no bonds have been set and all arrested will begin having first appearance on Wednesday at which time the Judge can set a bond.

Chelsea Floyd, Jerry Hildreth, James Lolley, Amanda Music, Major Miller, Rosanne Johnston, Sabrina Henderson, Timothy McReynolds, Anthony Smith, Toranto Lett, Treshawn Clay, Jerome Chinell, Sarah Holley, James Holley, Patrick Holt, Jason Henderson, Anthony Peacock, Dewey Gibson, Jamarcus Williams, Larry Hillard, Corey McNeal, Shanna Collins, Jarvis Hornsby, Travis Hornsby, Soletta Darden.
GENEVA COUNTY DISTRICT COURT JUDGE STEPHEN SMITH
Each of these will appear before Geneva County District Court Judge Stephen Smith beginning on Wednesday. Each will be advised by Judge Smith of the charges against them, their rights, can they afford an attorney and if not, and they qualify, then an attorney will be appointed for them.
Bonds will possibly be set at that time or the Judge, after appointing an attorney or hiring an attorney, will set a time for a bond hearing. Each jurisdiction handles it different ways.
If any of the above named have federal charges, once bond is made and perhaps even if not made, they will be transported by the U.S. Marshall's to Montgomery and appear before a U.S. District Magistrate Judge.
THERE ARE SOME MORE TO BE ARRESTED Sheriff Helms stated there are a few more arrests to be made.
Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza had the Houston County Sheriff SRT Team on hand if needed. All arrests went without incident, Sheriff Helms said.
