It’s been a pleasure serving as Houston County Commissioner of District 2.


Today, I am announcing my candidacy as Chairman of the Houston County Commission.  As Commissioner of District 2, it has been rewarding and challenging to be your public servant for the citizens of District 2 and Houston County.  I have gotten to know businesses, individuals and chamber of commerce’s of all the towns and municipalities and I have come to understand how to work with our citizens in our rural areas as well.  Small business are also very essential to our economy.


I will continue to be present in all districts to let their voices and concerns be heard.  Many different departments play a key role in providing services to all citizens of Houston County and that is what we do and I will continue that drive of service.


I am a strong advocate for our first responders, HCVF, EMS, EMA, Sheriff’s Dept. and local law enforcement.  Helping to make sure they have adequate resources to do their jobs safely for greater protection for lives and property.


The future of Houston County looks bright and I want to see growth, economic development and so much more.


To promote effective, efficient government, private and public partnership are essential in building relationships for that leads to collaborative efforts to improve quality of life for all.
