Traffic Stop Land Woman in Jail for Methamphetamine

HOLMES COUNTY: On May 1, 2024, a routine traffic stop conducted by HCSO deputies at Hwy 81 and Oak Street led to the apprehension of Jeanette Pennington and the discovery of illegal substances.


Jeanette Pennington’s driver’s license was found to be suspended. Upon searching her vehicle, numerous hypodermic needles containing methamphetamine, as well as a plastic baggy with meth and a homemade smoking device, were uncovered.



Pennington faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended license.
