Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

BONIFAY:  On April 1, 2021 investigators stopped a 2008 white Audi being driven by Autumn Crews from Orange Park, Florida on Sandpath Rd because the investigator knew her license were suspended.



A consensual search of her vehicle was obtained by investigators. Crews grabbed her purse and dumped the purse out on the ground and started to kick items under the car.




She was quickly detained, and the items were recovered and determined to be a piece of aluminum foil containing several grams of meth as well as a small baggy containing meth.




A further search of the car revealed a napkin containing heroin in the console. Crews was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of heroin.
