Traffic Stop Results in Arrest of a Weatville Man on Drug Charges

NEW HOPE – A traffic stop results in the arrest of a Westville resident on drug charges.


On 9/7/21 a deputy conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Rum Rd and Leavins Rd. in the New Hope community. The driver produced an ID card that identified him as Bryan Griffin. Griffin stated that he did not have a valid driver license. A search of the vehicle was conducted where a plastic baggy containing meth was located. Griffin was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and possession of meth.
