Trespassing Complaint Leads to Meth Arrest

HOLMES COUNTY: On March 8, 2024, deputies were dispatched to a residence on CR 65 after receiving a report of a female discovered asleep inside a bus located on the property. Upon arrival, deputies confirmed the identity of the female as Beverly Carney, who had previously been trespassed from the property. Carney was subsequently arrested.


During a search of her purse, a piece of tin foil containing methamphetamine was located in Carney’s purse. As a result, Carney is now facing charges related to trespassing and possession of methamphetamine.
