Tropical Depression in the Gulf

The low-pressure area over the Gulf is now Tropical Depression #Two.  It’s possible that the depression becomes a tropical storm in the next 24hrs, while moving south, AWAY from the coast. However, this system does NOT pose a local threat, outside of marine & beach hazards.
