PONCE DE LEON – On June 14, deputies with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop at the Tom Thumb in Ponce de Leon.
Contact was made with the driver, Mark Parker of Valparaiso, FL. While speaking with Parker, deputies obtained consent to search the vehicle. The passenger, Felicia Price of Defuniak Springs, FL, also granted permission for deputies to search her belongings in the vehicle.
The search of the vehicle produced a container with two small baggies of methamphetamine found between the driver’s seat and center console. Neither Parker or Price claimed ownership of the methamphetamine.
During the course of the interaction, Ms. Price also admitted to having methamphetamine on her person. She removed a small container with methamphetamine and turned it over to a deputy.
Both Parker and Price were transported to the Holmes County Jail, where they each face charges of possession of methamphetamine.
