DEFUNIAK SPRINGS:As of 06/17/2021 members of the DeFuniak Springs Police Department with the assistance from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, Office of the State Attorney, Florida Wildlife Commission, and the DeFuniak Springs Community, has developed probable cause for the arrest of two individuals in the connection in the murder of a DeFuniak Springs woman.
The DeFuniak Springs Police Department currently holds a warrant on Brian Laird DOB: 09/15/1979 for an open count of murder, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony. Laird is believed to have fled the DeFuniak Springs area and his whereabouts is unknown at this time. If you have any information concerning the location of Laird, please contact the DeFuniak Springs Police Department at 850-892-8513. Callers may also remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward by contacting Crimestoppers at 850-863-8477(TIPS).
The DeFuniak Springs Police Department has arrested Trevon Randolph DOB: 03/30/2001 for principal to murder.
This is still an active investigation; more details will be released in the near future.
