DOTHAN:    In a combined efforts law enforcement officers with Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Department have an area off South Park inside the Ross Clark Circle sealed off searching for a shooting suspect.

The area is Deborah Street and Glennwood Street, west of South Park towards Rip Hewes Stadium, and Southland Drive, Alpine Street area.

The focus area is the 900 block of Glennwood Street.

This suspect is considered armed and dangerous.

Law Enforcement are looking for black male Brandon Riggins, bornin 1987, and he was last seen on foot in the area.

If anything suspicious is seen call 911. Use caution as you exit your residence being aware of what you see prior to walking out the door.

The shooting was last evening at Coggins. Confirmed one female was shot in both legs.. Possibly a second gunshot victim. When the EMS left the scene the victims were alive and as far as I know at this time they are still alive.

The area has been cleared. Suspect has not been arrested but the area if search has been cleared.

In the shooting at Coggins Trailer Park reported in a earlier article, that this article is related to as search for suspect, it is confirmed there were two gunshot victims.

At this time Houston County Sheriff Department has not released any information about the facts or circumstances of this shooting.

Monday is a holiday which means the Administrative Offices of the Sheriff Department is closed. But that does not mean the Sheriff Deputies and Criminal Investigators are closed. Because they only dose but never close.
