ASHFORD:   4:51 PM   Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Ashford Rescue to Day Road and Old Highway 84 to reports to a person down.


The "person down" is someone slumped over the steering wheel. 


Houston County Sheriff 911 instructed Ashford Rescue to stage a safe distance away until Houston County Sheriff Deputies arrived and determine the scene safe for EMS to enter.


Often times with these calls the reasons range from nothing to major.

Houston County Sheriff Deputies and Ashford Fire were unable to locate patient or vehicle. Ashford Rescue was cancelled stage location and advised to return to service.
