From the National Weather Service in Tallahassee:
Sally remains a hurricane, but with winds of 85 mph. Sally is effectively drifting to the northwest. The slow to near stationary motion should continue through much of today.
There still remains a decent amount of uncertainty in the future track of Sally, with future shifts in the track to the east possible later today.
Rainfall continues to be the major impact in our region. Some areas could see as much as 10 to 15 inches of rain with isolated heaver totals. This would lead to life threatening flash flooding, and moderate to major river flood.
