WEBB:   10:34 PM.   Houston County 911 dispatched Webb Volunteer Fire, Kinsey Volunteer Fire, Columbia Rescue to a structure fire.


The fire is located at 199 Knowles Drive, which is near Wallace Buie Road.


Persons reporting to Houston County Sheriff 911 states flames and smoke from downstairs room.


Emergency units responding.

Webb Volunteer Fire Chief is on the scene with a fire engine within 11 minutes of the call hitting 911. Chief Ivey reports nothing visible and no fire found.


UNDERSTAND THIS PLEASE … at 10:34PM when this call hit 911 Chief Ivey was at home. He traveled from his home, to the station, got the fire engine and ON SCENE in 11 minutes. This is Webb VOLUNTEER FIRE Department. EXCELLENT Response time.


At 10:50 PM Chief Ivey cancelled all responding units.
