DOTHAN:    At 11:50 PM Dothan 911 dispatched Police - Fire - EMS to 602 South Lena Street, Apartment 96, to a firearm assault. The initial report was a female shot to the leg.

In addition Dothan 911 received reports of gunshots fired in the area.

Dothan 911 was also receiving additional suspect information and conflicting information which had Dothan Officers scrambling to possibly intercept a suspect vehicle.

Dothan Fire treated two patients on the scene at Henry Green Apartments. Two patients were transported by Pilcher Ambulance, emergency, trauma alert, to Southeast Health.

Dothan Police Criminal Investigators and Dothan Police Crime Scene Investigators responded.

At the same time, and details are not known, Dothan Police, assisted by Houston County Sheriff Deputies, to Lagrand Drive. Reports of shots fired and a male and female screaming.

Dothan Criminal investigators are spread from South Alice Street to the hospital. There is an additional female in the back of a police car. It is unknown if she is a witness or victim.

It will take Dothan Police some time to get all of the "accurate" details of what is going on.

Dothan Police Criminal Investigation Division Commander Lt. Doug MaGill was on the scene of the investigation. Also Sgt. Ronald Hall is on the scene of the investigation. Dothan Crime Scene Tech is also on the scene processing evidence.

It is unknown the extent of the injuries other than the victims were transported trauma alert.
