KINSEY:    9:55 PM     There is only one person that I run from. A GAME WARDEN !!!

Because I am always hunting on a baited field with elected people ( can not call them officials ).

And tonight the lying caused me to loose my cool.

The drama keeps coming out of Kinsey Alabama. I was accused of stirring the drama but as I told the Mayor, Charles Douglas and Mayor Pro Tem Joe Watson, I am not stirring it is the drama is funny to me and shows stupidity.

The current Kinsey Mayor, Charles Douglas, sought re-election. In the primary race Douglas, current Kinsey Councilman/Former Kinsey Mayor Jason Reneau and Anthony White ran in the primary election. Douglas was defeated in the primary, coming in third, but left Reneau and White in a run off. 

Jason Reneau easily walked to victory in the run off and will take over as Mayor on November 2. Until 12:01 AM on November 2, Charles Douglas remains Mayor.

Tonight Kinsey Mayor Charles Douglas suspended Kinsey Interim Police Chief Robert Jones for insubordination. Douglas, who because of health reasons can not drive, called Kinsey Mayor Pro Tem Joe Watson to drive him. Douglas said he told Interim Police Chief Robert Jones not to let the auxilary police officers drive the Kinsey Police car. Douglas claimed they were not covered on the insurance for the Town of Kinsey.

Jones has called Mayor Elect Jason Reneau who called the insurance agent who said they were covered on the insurance. One of the auxilary police officers is a sitting Kinsey Town Council member so without a doubt he is covered. However RSN confirmed with Mayor Elect Reneau they were covered.

There was the normal waffling when asked did the Mayor say not drive because not covered on the insurance or not drive regardless. Never have understood the correct answer.

After Mayor Charles Douglas suspended Interim Chief Jones Houston County 911 called the Interim Chief to respond to a shots fired call. Interim Chief Jones asked Mayor Douglas does he respond and Mayor Pro Tem Joe Watson said have the county respond. At the time I did not know it was a shots fired call so I made the statement hope it was not a medical call of someone not breathing. Mayor Douglas said they could call the fire department. I disagreed and said to the Mayor remember who was the first one to him recently when he passed out and he said he did not know. I went off on him, yelled and said do not lie that he knew good and well who was the first to him when he had a medical emergency and for him not to ever lie to me again. I hope Watson was taking video because I showed my "rickey" when the lies were told.

You see, one week ago tonight a person was shot in Kinsey and later died. I have zero tolerance with idiots in power who recklessly play with the fact of someone's life. And the response given and playing ring around the roses like he did not know the first person to him in the medical emergency was the Interim Police Chief, and if the call tonight was a person not breathing, the response of Douglas and Watson was a complete disregard for human life.

So it was a "shots fired" call. Same thing last week and a person was shot.

Watson and I got into it several times. I told him and Douglas the games and crap they were playing is uncalled for. It is good for hits but man it gets old.

Douglas does not like or support Jones and neither does Joe Watson. 

The Town of Kinsey is without a police officer because Mayor Charles Douglas said he was insubordinate. He would not be clear on this directions.

TO CARRIE LASSITER  

Watson said he did not read RSN. My reply was, I do not care. Watson said I do not print the truth or retractions. WRONG. He then asked why I never printed Carrie Lassiter's letter. My response was and is, because I have not seen a letter from Carrie Lassiter.

After I was told there was one I went back and looked in the email and found a email in spam from Councilwoman Gaylord and printed it. I might now Lassiter's face when I see it but can not put a face and a name. But I have zero reservations about printing whatever Lassiter wants to say. People think it bothers me what people say. In this business you can not wear your feelings on your shoulders.

So Mr. Lassiter, 334-790-1729 is my number. I did not bring your name into this, Joe Watson did. Call me and I will personally pick the letter up and print it.

I have zero reservations to print whatever you want to say, to include whatever you want to say about me.

ALL OF THIS MAKES A GREAT SOAP OPERA... I do apologize to the citizens of Kinsey but your registered voters elected them.
