CLIO:    12:19 AM    The Alabama Department of Corrections are maintaining their records as the months click towards the end of the year.

ECHO Fire - EMS is rolling towards Clio, 200 Wallace Drive, Easterling Prison. A 33 year old male has multiple stab wounds on his shoulders and back.

Echo Fire - Rescue has requested Survival Flight be auto launched to the prison in Clio.

The United States Department of Justice filed a recent report with the United States Federal Court that Alabama has made ZERO progress to making the prisons safer. Their report stated the Alabama Department of Corrections has seven times the murders in Alabama prisons than other states.

THIS PERSON IS REPORTED TO BE CONSCIOUS AND BREATHING

But none the less the management of the State of Alabama - Department of Corrections just can not handle the job and can not get things fixed. And this has been going on for years, since Bob Riley was Alabama's Governor. And no one has fixed it.

Many in the prison systems were not bad when sent there. A lot are for drug offenses. If the system utilized programs such as TEEN CHALLENGE ( not just for teens ) more to whip the problem rather than think the SAP Program inside the Alabama Department of Corrections can help someone fight the drug habit, well they have a thinking issue themselves. Perhaps that persons needs a mental evaluation!

At 12:35 AM Survival Flight declined the flight mission due to weather. The 911 dispatcher is going to see if Hayne's Helicopter can make the mission.

Haynes Ambulance declined the mission due to weather. The patient is conscious, breathing and talking.

UPDATED @ 1:06 AM   Echo Fire - EMS, ambulance, is transporting one inmate and one guard to the hospital. They are transporting, non emergency. We will not disclose the location where the transport is going for safety reasons.
