DOTHAN: Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to a report of a structure fire at Bel Air Mobile Home Park. Reports are smoke and flames visible from a blue and white mobile home in the rear of the park.
The first unit on scene (Engine 6) advised light smoke visible from the roof.
Dothan Police responded along with an ambulance. The road the fire is located on is closed due to emergency equipment and supply line blocking the road.

While Dothan Fire was responding to the scene DOTHAN Police 911 reported to the fire units that person reporting had beat on the door and were unable to get anyone to the door.
Dothan Fire went directly into “Rescue” mode when they arrived on the scene and fire fighting was the secondary mission on arrival.
On the arrival “smoke only” was visible and no flames. But it would not have matteres If flames were visible or not the primary mission was “Rescue” mode in making sure no one was inside.
Entry was made and no one was inside.
Once established no one home fireman then changed to fire fighting mode. The source of the smoke and was found and scene established under control in a short period of time.
Multiple DOTHAN Fire units and EMS responded.
It all begins in the 911 Center. The information they are provided from the caller determines the response and primary actions of those responding.
Dothan Utilities were dispatched to the scene.
