DOTHAN: 10:30 PM Dothan 911 dispatched a structure fire at 671 North Range, Dothan McGriff Grocery. Reports are smoke from the roof.

Dothan Fire Engine 1 ( Central ) and Battalion Chief were on the scene in less than 5 minutes. The Battalion Chief reports this is a working, offensive fire.

Dothan Fire Engine 5 ( Eastside ) arrived at 10:37 PM. This fire engine was delayed because of a train across the tracks.

Dothan Fire Deputy Fire Chief David Hasty is responding at 10:38 PM, Engine 4 ( Soutside ) is on the scene and Pilcher Ambulance.

The Battalion Chief has requested Dothan Utilities to respond. Utilities are first responders in emergency situations.

This is a working offensive fire.

10:40 PM

No fire reported in the back of the residence. It appears the fire is above the back of the residence.

10:48 PM

Dothan Fire units report fire knock down.

10:54 PM

Dothan Fire Deputy Chief David Hasty has arrived on the scene.

There are three apartments in this complex. Dothan Fire has made entry into all three apartments.

Dothan 911 notified command that fire units have been on the scene for 23 minutes. The Command is doing a roll call of all fireman on the scene making sure all fireman accounted for and safe along with where each person is located.

Dothan Fire Command completed PAR check ( roll call of all persons on the scene ). Everyone accounted for and ok.

Dothan Fire Command reports at 11:01 PM Dothan Utilities is on the scene. Also asked for water to residence to be cut off.
