DALE COUNTY:     3:54 PM.     Ozark - Dale County 911 dispatched a two vehicle accident at 2883 East County Road 36, Ozark, at Mabson United Methodist Church.

On dispatch, two vehicles, with possible entrappment.

Ozark - Dale County 911 Center put the Lifeflight Helicopter in the air. Echo Fire Rescue and Ozark Fire - EMS rolled to the scene. Ewell Fire also rolled.

Dale County Sheriff Chief Deputy Mason Bynum was one of the first deputies on the scene.

The call was dispatched at 3:00 PM.

ALEA - Trooper Ellis is in charge of the investigation. 

A lot of information and scene pictures are being withheld until notifications are made.

Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson and Dale County Coroner Woodie Hilboldt were informed and involved in ther accident investigation.

Alabama State Troopers are conducting a thorough investigation into the cause and circumstances of the accident. 

As in all traffic deaths 33rd Judicial Circuit District Attorney Kirke Adams has been notified.

The victim of the two vehicle accident claimed the life of  Doni Christine Bywater.

The name was with held because some family was in Texas. In fact the family contacted me to connect them with law enforcement officials. While we had no identifying information as to who was in the accident the Texas family reached out to me and I connected them with Dale County Coroner Woody Hildbolt.

ALEA - Troopers are continuing to investigate. The fatality vehicle was not at fault.
