DOTHAN:    12:42 PM   Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Fire to Medical Center Terrace Apartments to a structure fire. Reports of light smoke visible.

Deputy Fire Chief Chris Etheridge was the first unit on the scene. At first report was no smoke visible and then changed to light smoke visible.

Deputy Chief instructed one fire engine to enter apartment complex and all other fire engines stage on Sixth Avenue. The Deputy Chief reported the resident report possible a stove fire that is out at this time.

Multiple fire units responded because this is a multi story, multi residential structure.

Dothan Fire Engine 1 reports all clear on occupants but looking for one cat. The fire was contained to the stove and is out at this time.

Dothan Fire doing ventilation of the apartment.

Deputy Chief Etheridge has declared all  under control and instructing most of the fire engines to return to service.
