DOTHAN:     12:15 AM     Dothan Police surround the Shell Station on West Main Street and Montana Street. The inside of the building is searched. Dothan Fire was staged down the street and called to the scene. 

The fire department loaned the police department ladders and used their lighting equipment to light up the roof top of the building. Officers climbed the ladders and searched from the roof top and searched inside the attic area.

Dothan Utilities were dispatched to and responded to the scene.

At this time do not know the original dispatched call. The officers have spent considerable time searching the building.

Dothan Police received the alarm and within a couple of minutes the Shell Station was surrounded by law enforcement.

Dothan Police searched the inside of the building. Dothan Fire Department was called to the scene to assist with ladders to be supplied to law enforcement. Dothan Fire placed lights on the roof and Dothan Police Officers climbed the rook of the Shell Station.

Dothan Police Patrol Lt. Wozniak and Dothan Police Officers searched every inch of the building. The suspect made it in and out in seconds.

Dothan Police night shift Lieutenants Wozniak and Lt. Watson and Houston County Sheriff Patrol Lieutenants Lt. Reichert and Lt. Simmons and their shift Assistant Commanders and squads are proactive and do a great job in protecting the citizens of Dothan and Houston County.

Good job to the officers, Dothan Fire, Dothan Utilities and as always, the Dothan 911 staff - the backbone of the emergency system.
