DOTHAN: Dothan Police School Resource Officer called dispatch requesting help at Davis Gym at Dothan Prep on South Oates.
A few seconds later the officer called back and requested the backup units to step it up. Additional officers are responding to include other Resource officers.
It's not clear but unconfirmed reports are approx 13 kids involved.

Some have asked the question if weapons were involved.
Dothan Police Chief Steve Parrish and Dothan Police Major Will Benny were asked via text and both responded no weapons involved.
