HARTFORD: 08:20 AM VIA TEXT RICKEY 334-790-1729 have been notified of a motor vehicle accident involving a ambulance.
The accident is at the intersection of Alabama Highway 52 and Alabama Highway 167 in Hartford. According to the person reporting Geneva Rescue was the ambulance provider and a patient was on board.
The transport was from Geneva to Dothan when struck by a vehicle. There were no injuries.
The patient was transferred from Geneva Rescue to Hartford Rescue which transported the patient onto Dothan.
The accident is reported not to be the fault of Geneva Rescue. And no one was injured, to include the patient, in the Geneva Rescue ambulance.
Hartford Police is in charge of the accident investigation.

Someone TEXT RICKEY 334-790-1729 stating this accident was in front of the Citgo and not actually at the intersection.
The person texting said there was a vehicle turning into the Citgo and the ambulance stuck the vehicle and did not have the siren on.
Hartford Police Chief Ward was off today and RSN could not confirm the details.
So who was at fault, the person texting said the ambulance was at fault. We will check tomorrow when Chief Ward is back at work.
Regardless, no one was injured.
