KINSEY:    2:44 PM.  Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Kinsey Police, Headland Fire - EMS to an edged weapon assault.


The call is in the 200 block of Caprice Court.


The person reporting to 911 reported she was assaulted and stabbed with an edged weapon.


UPDATED @ 5:38 PM.  


Houston County Sheriff Criminal investigator Hamilton and Acting Kinsey Police Chief Jim Mock were on the scene, along with additonal deputies.


The investigation continues. The victim’s story appears to change and the alleged offense possibly happened in Dale County.
