DOTHAN: 6:06 PM Dothan 911 has dispatched a report of a structure fire at 104 Village Lane in Dothan. Multiple Dothan Fire Engines rolling as is Pilcher Ambulance.
Dothan 911 reports possible grease fire, residents instructed to evacuate. The fire is possibly extinguished but you roll as worse case until units arrive and check for sure.
UPDATED AT 6:09 PM
Dothan Fire Engine 3 ( Westgate ) has arrived on the scene. The engine company reports a single story residential structure, nothing visible. The fire engine company instructs all units to go to level one staging. This means do not connect to fire hydrant but stand by at one until the word is given by Village Street Command.
AT 6:10 PM - Village Street Command ( which is what Fire Company Three changes once on the scene ) advises fire out, all units but Engine 3 and Truck 3 can return to service. All that is needed is ventilation.
