WICKSBURG:    Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Wicksburg Rescue and Houston County Sheriff Deputies to a firearm assault at 11:53 PM.


The incident location was in the 14000 block of U.S. 84 West close to Highway 123 intersection.


A white male was shot in the head with a pellet gun. The patient had a controlled bleed and was disorderly.


The injured was transported to a local hospital by ambulance non emergency. The ambulance was under law enforcement watch as it traveled to the hospital.


Houston County Sheriff Criminal Investigators are responding. Deputies on both the shooting scene and the local hospital.

There was no foul play in this incident. The person was transported non emergency. The wound was self inflicted.
